Heart Saver & First Aid

American Heart Association’s Heart Saver courses are designed to prepare students to provide first aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and adequate use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely and effective manner, to create a culture of life saving in all ages of our community.

The objective of this course is to acquire the requested knowledge and skills in order to help save a life.

Despite all the efforts done to prevent heart related deaths; sudden cardiac arrest is still one of the major causes of death in the world. Around 70 % of the arrests that occur outside of the hospital happen at home, so the initial management and resuscitation is a major key for good prognosis.

The skills you will learn in this course will help you recognize cardiac arrest, provide appropriate basic emergency care on the spot till more advanced care arrives to take over.

Besides, the basic first aid course is designed to give students skills and knowledge to provide emergency lifesaving care in most common emergency situations (Fractures, Burns, choking, wounds, bleeding…)

Target audience: School, Students, Scouts, Teachers, Employees, Engineers, Gym trainers… and anyone who may be interested.
